During the early days of accessing the creek, we discovered that the culvert under McKinley Street through which Farm Creek flows, was caving in.  Not only was the top of the culvert now in the creek itself but the road was in danger of collapsing.

We sent photos and a heads-up to the Department of Transportation and the culvert was replaced.

There was little mention of replanting the now denuded corner, but we insisted that they provide native plants that were appropriate for this area. We also arranged for the drainage to the north of McKinley to be cleared of obstruction at the same time.
