We have sought out and recruited corporate sponsors for specific projects, and their contributions have been deeply appreciated:
- In the Fall of 2009, Pepperidge Farms donated 40 shrubs to plant in the Kulz preserve and at 34 Sammis Street, along with a cash grant
- For our 2009 Spring Trash Bash, CDC Landscaping paid for the removal of a huge dumpster full of scrub and trash
- In 2007, Patagonia Westport granted over $2,000 to fund the removal of Ailanthus trees and their replacement with indigenous species
- In 2006 and 2007, Frank Robotti Landscaping has donated landscaping services
If you work in an environmentally conscious company which could be interested in support of a grass roots organization where a dollar goes a very long way, do get in contact with us.
